VW Jetta MED17.5.5 ecu swap
Good day,
Need help and advice, Are ECU's from VW and Audi interchangeable? I have a Jetta mk6 with a dead ECU and found a donor ecu but its from an Audi A3 8P with similar engine (CAX). Both ECU's are MED17.5.5 buth the Audi is dsg and the Jetta manual transmission. Is there any rule or guide to use when searching a replacement ecu or should all numbers match? |

As\I said, Hardware and software numbers must match
