Im getting 'generic error' on edc16u34 when trying to write file, it says it when i try to select the file to write, Kess V2 5.017 KSuite 2.47,

Anyone know a fix for this??

you can try to reinstall the C ++ libraries on the pc, install the versions from 2012 to 2017

2015 and 2017 ont seem to install, for some reason it will allow me to write the file that i have read but wont let me write a different file, even though i have used it before, bare in mind i am now using a new laptop.

i think that there is a checksum error, if c++ library are ok, you can check dll in ksuite folder. perform a new installation of ksuite. or try with ksuite 2.23. my advice is to write in bdm if you can

tried going back to 2.23 and get same error, reads fine, when i try to write file it comes up same message when i select the file to be written 'generic error', begining to think it must be the new computer, never had this problem with my old 1, even using same file???

the theres the strange thing that it will allow me to write the file that it has read itself???

why can i write the file its read but not a different 1???

why did i leave the old computer where the kids could spill a drink on it, damm fool lol
