Correct flashing procedure with galletto in bootmode?
Good evening everybody, I made a thread about Edc17cp02 reading in bootmode, just another question. Galletto gives me 3 options:
Read all Read int flash Read eprom If this ECU has OTP what is the correct way to flash simple stage 1 on? My understanding is 1. Read all (or read int flash?) 2. Send tuner 3. Write all (mod) (or write int flash?) Will write all destroy OTP area and brick ecu? Seen a few posts about people bricking these ECUs or similar edc17 Or do I only need to read int flash and write int flash (mod) Thanks in advance |

RE: Correct flashing procedure with galletto in bootmode?
Do read all, which will save the files separately, and one large one together. Tuner will tune just the maps (found in internal flash).
OTP area cannot be modified or destroyed at all. It is permanent. What car is this for? Does galletto v54 support it fully? You cannot brick anything if you do a full read in boot mode. Start with that. |
