Greetings all,need some help with coding tool for bmw ,its like a nightmare , downloaded bmw software and even bought a cable with mikes software,installed it as per instruction,it installed and worked,but i need to do programming and coding and need to use win kfp,unfortunatley it does not work ,when i open bnw coding tool and try and upfate sp daten,it says its not a valid sp daten,  can someone help,

The Datens in Mike's software are quite old at this point. I highly suggest you get the bimmergeeks version, as it is quite recent. I've had issues with the coding tool corrupting an installation by updating, so I don't use it.

at the moment working on a e46 bmw, need to update transmission ecu, besides that i need to know how to use win kfp for other works that i get , so i am like trying to get everything in order

First at all you need to indentify the zb you are looking for

Then download the sp-daten pack, the last one is v66, you can find it in the forum, install it with coding tool(unpack the daten, then choose the folder) and remember that winkfp only works with one daten at time, if you want to flash in the future e60, you need to install again the e60 daten...

After apply the sp-daten update you will find the the column ecu family the modules
