The file will be saved automatically in the file location and you need to write the new file to the eeprom ic. Make sure you always back up your original file. After that put ecu back and personalize with STAR DAS.

first take your eeprom out of your ecu some ecu of benz cannot be open so you need to use some other tools rather than ak500.
xprog, abrites, or other programmers.
if your ecu can be opened then take eeprom out and put it on ak500 you can search on google and see the program which tells you what kind of eeprom the ecu has based on your ecu number.

read the eeprom then renew it with the software.

after that flash back the renewed dump.

this requires some skills.

do not attempt it in a working car.

learn these skills by practicing in broken ecu

take it easy.

after programing the renewed file to the eeprom , do i need any
special tool to match the ecu or i just have to fix
