(SOLVED) DME ISN MSV80, EWS 4.4
I want to replace an msv80.1 in x3 2.5i with another. Car has ews 4.4. My tools are all cas tools. I have read msv dme isn and i get 128bit isn. Ews isn is 2 bit, 4 digit. I attempted to read old dme isn but it has a can fault. That is why am replacing it.
I think msv80.1 for ews may have isn at a different address compared to cas msv80. Is thare any way i can resolve this? Reading new msv80 dump is a pain. I need resistors soldered on but i have no idea what size of resistor. I only have ohm classification of resistor. Nothing on resistor voltage or amperage. Any ideas? Any way i can figure the 4 digit isn from 128bit read from dme? --------------------------------------------------------------- MSV80 ISN is long in EWS. Problem solved. We learn all the time |

I highly advice before practicing and learning on customers cars go and learn how this work.
Because i see u mixing things together.. There is small software that easily show u isn from ews4 and can change it. Remap&individual tuning STG1 STG2 DPF EGR SCR OFF (BMW IMMO SOLUTIONS)
