Hello guys,
Does anybody know where I can get diagbox V5 series? My Interface Isn't flashed, só I think it will work only with diagbox 5.

If your Evolution XS interface does not have all the components it may work with DiagBox 5.xx,6.xx and 7.xx. But if it is Revision "B", it will only work with DiagBox v5.01 to 5.29... and if you want it to work 5.all, 6.all and 7.all, then you need to reflash the Evolution XS (Lexia Device) to Revision "C".

The quality and lack of components on the board of the device may affect which car will it connect to...

not nessaraly true my b interface would work on 5 but not 6 but would work on 7 up to 7.24... think it depends on the luck of the draw really

Actually, it is not a matter of luck, the working combinations of Firmware/Revision are known, what I wrote above is the rule of thumb. It is a matter of luck to the buyer of the Chinese clone who is not sure of his equipment until he gets it.

Try flashing your desirable Firmware then connecting the device after starting DiagBox, or you could inject your desirable Firmware by replacing C:\AWRoot\bin\launcher\appli.com with the version you like and start DiagBox while the device is connected!!

However, being able to connect and to perform reliable diagnosis are two different things, this is why there has been numerous updates, to account for bug fixes and/or new functionality. At the end of the day, it is what works for you..

Now I'm gettin "Failure of the activation (error 0)".

I see its related to my missing drivers (network card.. etc..)

I don't think I will be able to find win XP driver for such new hardware
I will give it a try tough
