NBT EVO Fix for Audio delay in BT and Carplay?
Hi,
I have noticed some delay in the audio when playing music/video over carplay and bluetooth on my id5 nbt evo (Mini HMI). Is there a way to fix this or code the delay? On my 2009 VW Polo with RNS I had almost no delay in bluetooth audio. Somehow on the NBT EVO there is a big delay of almost 1 to 2 seconds. Does anyone else have this issue? |

I think its the matter of hardware itself, i have the same issue in NBT Next and i havent heard that there are coding solutions to it..

There are only these parameters about delay:
API_VIDEO_DELAY_USB API_VIDEO_DELAY_IPOD But it is not about bt or cp at all |

If your using the app carbridge I think the delay using carplayenable is not as bad.

I've read somewhere that`s like that on purpose by BMW because is creating a 'cache' of the sound to have a better quality. That`s why when you want to press next, is a small delay. Is buffering first and then play for a higher quality.
Also, when you look youtube si the most disturbing one, as the sound is so off ... So there might be a coding line somewhere, that nobody managed to find it yet.
