Hi, need some more advise , need to do a bmw dme replace , its a 320i facelift, need to know which tools can read isn on bench and write in cas, the dme has water damage, i have read about vvdi and fvdi , can someone please assist on which tools to get to get the job done.

Ktag will be the best for that job.
First try to read full dump from ecu and clone it.
If that not help consider reverse order. Try to read ISN from CAS and write it to dme.

What engine computer?

If it is E90, I usually just swap the flash chip and the new ECU is ready to go (flash has virtual eeprom, so all immo codes copied over)

Thank you,i think i will do tht , can u tell me other compatible dme tht can work there maybe if u have win kfp and check,mine dont work

Its a e90 2011 model 320i facelift,manual transmission

Use CGDI BMW or CG100.

hi, can the isn number be written in dme , without expensive tools ?, like auto hex and explorer etc, if possible can u kindly share the procedure.thank you
