Hello everybody, I need your help. I have a F11 530XD here.
The engine control unit was defective and we bought a used one.
I could also program and code this with ISTA +.
When trying to start the car, however, comes an error code.
With ISTA he writes me that it is not possible to make a CAS / DDE reconciliation.
Is there a way to get the ECU up and running?

ofcourse it does.. ista+ can program/encode ecu but canot change/match ISN so only new ecu from dealer would work this way..you need special tools autohex,explorer,avdi..etc to change isn or clone ecu by ktag or other decent tool

Thx for your Awnser, K-Tag 7.020 cant read the EDC17C76. Only PreLCI with EDC17C56. And i have only K-Tag and Kess with K-Suite 2.47 Clones. Which cheap Clone can Change/Match ISN? Old is ECU is broken. I think there is nothing to read anymore.

ISN is in the unprotected eeprom.
If original dde would read, then this would have been really easy to clone even without genuine ktag.

MPPS v18 can read the eeprom easily in GPT ecus without actually using GPT.
