Having a G31 with KAFAS4, I recently enabled speed limit info using the appropriate FSC (no emulator)

One of my friends has a G30 530e with the exact same options except for the adaptive cruise control (5DP).
I noticed he has the Speed Limit Assist function activated.
What this essentially does is, when CC is activated and KAFAS detects a speed limit change, the KOMBI suggests to change the current speed of the CC to the imposed speed limit.

In my perception, this does not require radar or other sensors, so enabling could be a matter of coding?

I added 5DF to the FA and coded DKOMBI & HU_NBT2.

On DKOMBI no noticeable changes, but the option does appear on the NBT (see attached file).
However, the "Function is not available" (Functie niet beschikbaar) and the checkbox cannot be activated.

Anyone a suggestion? Did I miss VO coding an ECU or does this really require extra hardware?

However, I don't have the SAS module.
Strangely, this is listed as being equipped when you have CC with braking function (=standard)

An update on this:

I verified with e-sys and ISTA+ but could not find a SAS ECU - which would mean the technical docs are faulty?

I VO coded 5DF to KOMBI, NBT & DSC but no success:

• Cannot activate SLA on NBT
  
• Activating CC on steering wheel throws CC error in NBT
  
• DSC throws error in ISTA+ regarding incorrect partnumber for ACC
