Hi guys,

I've got an issue with HBA (5AC) on an 2008 F01.
Car has kafas, no error on ista (all green). 
With light switch on auto, when i press HBA button, nothing happens: no light on dash, high beam does not turn on with low light.
In ISTA, i can see button status changing ok. 
But if i  code FRM, the HBA works (green light on dash, high beam auto on when on dark roads as expected) until ignition is turned off. 

Any ideas? HBA is original, FRM was replaced a long time ago (on dealer, hw is compatible).
Car has F001-19-07-520 i-level.

No, car has original CIC unit. Although it has an aftermarket carplay MMI. 
But i think the HBA stopped working before that. I need to confirm with owner.

FRM need C_HBA_CAM_POS_Z, C_HBA_ENA, FLA_VERBAUT

I think so, there's only KAFAS, so HBA from KAFAS.

I need to check frm fdl, but since is VO code with car's FA (with 5AC on it), i suppose it's present

So if it has KAFAS hba won't be an issue, if it fails most of the KAFAS features will join that failure. So my advice to check coding after that check FRM

The same issue on my F06, the only difference is that I don't have Kafas but I've installed the camera under the mirror.
I've added the 5AC into the FA and coded the full car, the HBA is working perfectly when I code the FRM but is not working after the engine is restarted.

No errors on ISTA all modules are green. 

Any idea on hit to get this sorted because atm is very annoying
