frozen ccc E61 after update
hello,
I have a problem with the ccc from a E61 after updating with ista-p. The screen stay on the bmw logo. with ista-d i see no problem. when i read with inpa, the i see that the ccc module is still in programmodus 7. I search for some solution, and with Winkfg it have to work. I d'ont have mutch experience with this. Can sommeone help me with this? Grz |

It happens with CCCs very frequently. They are 15 years old now you know and not kept in good conditions (temperature/humidity wise). You may try to search for restore cd and give it a try. Else the soldering of some BGA chips must be fixed.

Normaly with ista-p it have to work. i read that if the ccc is still in programstatus that you can fix this with winkfp. i never use this. Maby some help would be great. |

Just try with the software you have but find the correct procedure please. CCCs are big trouble when this happens

I have the same issue, when update my e60 firmware, using istaP. I repaired CCC using CCC fw repair CD according to hw version of Yours CCC module: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=6978
