If mileage from old dump is more than in new - no problem. Great Interest if Xprog can erase mileage from dash, MY from 2004. Because in this year the manufacturer switched from panels with 35080 inside to 35080v6 (which Xprog can not erase, at least my Xprog 5.51).

Build date for this x5 is 25/06/2004. I can confirm that xprog 5.70 can erase 3580 in circuit from Moldovan1's pinout. Interestingly, the top 2 rows 0x000 and 0x010 are all 0 after erase, the rest is filled with FF. You can fill the first 2 lines with FF then reflash and the chip is totally blank. Also wrote the dump back onto the old cluster, read then compared with original read in hex editor. Streams are identical, so all seems good. Next job is to prep the new cluster then flash that.

Finally got around to fitting cloned cluster. I can confirm it works perfectly. Thank you to those that offered help and advice.
