i have friend with nLCI F10 who wanted to retrofit the NBT Evo and replaced the ZGW01 (metal case) with a brand new ZGW02 from BMW. The problem is that with the new ZGW02 box the car won t go into gear. We tried with two other ZGW02 (used ones) that i have and the result is the same, you can t put into gear, always message on kombi that you have to press brake pedal to put into gear.

in the same time he wants to retrofit the ACC2 so he also replaced ACC, DSC and ICM

does anyone have any idea on what needs to be done so ZGW02 can work with the nLCI F10?

3 possibilitys:
-wrong programming (use that one for F10 not for F25)
-you never have to learn the flexray, never ever!!!, if you have done, you have to delete the learning by TOOL32 (just search here in forum about how to)
-the car is built before 09/10, then you have to order a newer CAS, because something is with hardware before this date

If car older than 09/2010 is not possible to switch to zgw2 because cas and dsc are different, only solution to install nbt is to use full carsystem emulator

If car built from 09/2010 onwards, you must program and bring to the same istep zgw, cas, icm, dsc, kombi

better if you update all the car ecus

DSC was already installed from LCI car (for ACC2 retrofit). the car is 07/2010
