Hi,

i have a Problem with my girlfriends E46. Today the Airbaglamp goes on. Via Rheingold "Internal ECU Error" and 3 errors with resistance too high.

Now i wanted to try a software update for the Airbag MRS4 ECU before i change it (I`ve read a lot about update the ecu software helps on internal error, also i want to try this first before i change the ecu)

i have the latest psdzdata  with coding and update files. But with WINKFP no ECU is avaible for MRS4. Then i try the same via ISTA P and there i can only coding and changing/swap the ecu?

Any Idea?

In e46 you can only officialy flash 3 ecu: dde/dme, dsc and egs.
If you have internal fault in mrs you need to:
- use programer and flash it with good dump - pro version
- buy used mrs and code it to car - very easy, module are not expensive

Okay thanks, alsi buy a usee one and code it via ista p is the Best solution?

That's not right, E46 series has only DME/DDE and EGS which can be (offically) flashed with other software.
