EDIT.....was reading the wrong SIB

However, still not applicable to F10/F11 as they never came with an ID4/5 EVO or HU compatible with any ATM.

Also ATM don’t has F10/F11 inside CAFD. Right coding is not possible.

Yeah the SIB is not for F10. But you can get an ATM from BMW for TCB or 3G ATM Cars that the point.

Also you can get an ATM to work in an F10

It’s a bit of a moot point mate. I have an ATM working in my F10, that’s not the issue, the issue is not getting my VIN blacklisted when the 3G switch off occurs, and potentially obtaining a genuine ATM replacement for my car, which as it stands, SIB document or not, is not likely to happen. Unless you have any other information that we aren’t aware of? Because an ATM will not work with an NBT, which is what would be in the car from factory.

My vehicle has connected drive and qualifies for the retrofit. I am already on a 2021 i-level higher than the minimum 2016 i-level listed in the SIB.

Questions:
1- If I order the ATM module through a dealer, do they have to do anything on their backend so I quality to renew connected drive post 3G shutdown? If yes, what is it specifically that I need to ask them to do?
2- Is the installation just a swap of TCB to ATM and let ISTA do it's thing (offline)? Or does ISTA need to be online or are there specific coding I need to do in esys?

i just retrofitted the ATM on my 2016 X3 F25 about 3 weeks ago and so far it's working fine on the Connected drive.

Where did you order the ATM from?
Did your VIN have to be registered into some back end system?
Was it plug and play or did you have to do extra configs?

I am talking about retrofit to a car that already has connected drive services from factory but with 3G.
