has anyone one some info on what required to make blind spot detection work on G30.

car in question has:
05DN Parking assistance system Plus

So i belive sensors are there.

You mean "lane change warning"? 5DN will NOT help you then. It uses ultrasonics only. Lane change warning requires SRRs (short range radars). And comes with driving assistant plus/pro.

you need 2 side radars in rear bumper, external mirrors with light triangles and LRE+vibro in steering wheel. This is not separate option in G30, so additional coding required.

So thats what blind spot is... Then if you want it at front too, you will need front radars too. I didn't even know it's possible to have half of it.

also you need windshield and KAFAS with FSCs

Yes exactly 4 radars required plus 1 on the front(acc) and of course kafas, but the biggest problem is FSC no easy to get it!

Thanks for the answers, do you really need ACC radar for lane departure warning?

No.
G30 have two options: 5AS ( Driving Assistant ) and 5AT. ( Driving Assistant Plus ) ( Bj. 2017, 2018, 2019 )
5AS have only two radar sensor in the rear bumper.

When you need only Blind Spot detection, you need 2 Radar sensor, mirrors with LED triangle, LRE and actuator in Steering wheel, and KAFAS camera with FSC,s. Then you must add 5AS to FA, and flash the car.

5AT have ACC sensor, and 4 radar sensor in front and rear bumper.
