Updating NBT EVO software.

XZBMW  Updating NBT EVO software.
Hello everyone..

My F10 was build with a NBT i had a retrofit done from NBT to NBT EVO ID6 , now i am wondering something in the 6 years since a bought my F10 new i could update the NBT software 2 times ( software for better cellphone support i would go to https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/software-updates.html ) and with my VIN i could see if there was a new update for the NBT. Now with the NBT EVO i was wondering how i could check if there is new software for the NBT EVO? because if i use my VIN the website shows me the software for the original NBT.

I find the celphone reception with the original NBT better then the one with the NBT EVO , with the NBT EVO i always hear a echo in the background when i have a celphone coverstation in the car , thats why i was thinking maybe there is a software update for the NBT EVO unit.

you retrofited EVO, so you can't use that update file for it, it is being made for OEM NBT.
MGU Patching/Virginizing.
Feature Installer codes.
Physical NBT EVO Repairs.

you need to update your amplifier it will solve your issue
  • FSC Patch CIC/NBT/EVO/ENAV2/MGU
  • Remove Component Protection EVO/ENAV2/MGU
  • VIRGIN KAFAS/RAM/ENAV2/EVO/MGU
  • VIRGIN EGS ZF / DCT
  • Secure Coding 2.0 Type Key, FA, SFA
