Hi i have Vectra c 2008 with cd30mp3 and GID Display. I want to change index in GID to activate Board computer. I have the new stalk with button already in car. But no matter what version of op com (from120309 and all fantomel versions posted here on forum) i try it is unable to program the index. MyGID which has the identifier 0x1408 is unidentified by opcom and thus not able to program. Is a there a way around that? i have index 014(without bc) and i need index 015.

You need a REAL tool to do this job... not a fake china clone

I just did a test at bench ( well I tested a BID not a GID ) and I could change the index code very easy. I am used a china clone because you are using a clone with original/official/untouched/uncracked version of OP-COM with license.

I'm able to connect to Gid. Op com says that due to the unknown identifier 0x1408 it can not continue.

No matter if real opcom or China it can not do it. Real opcom and fantomel versions have the same indexes. One person with tech 2 is too far away to even try it.

Not true, china Opcoms need help so the dumps need editing to change things.
Post your dumps and I'll fix it so your china tool will work....

Not true, china Opcoms need help so the dumps need editing to change things.
Post your dumps and I'll fix it so your china tool will work....

Ok I answer it my self. I don't needed the code for this. I have code. I say that in the fist post. I was not able to program another index and activate on board computer with opcom. Op Com is not able to program this type of display. Since then I obtained gm mdi with tech2win and as you already know it is able to program it. So thread closed.
