hi everyone,
I tried to repair the dme msv90 for BMW F02 series,one of the Elco is burnt.I have changed the elco with the new one.But the car still cranking but no sta rt.
1B5102 terminal 15_3.line from cas.electrical fault short circuit to earth.

200808 DME,internal fault monitoring hardware malfunction.

130e01 crankshaft inlet camshaft synchronization camshaft signal outside limit value

130F01 crankshaft -exhaust camshaft synchronization camshaft signal outside limit value.

here I attch you the dme pcb board.whic one of the part is responsible for the error?

It looks like damaged DME.

Yeah I know that.It's the DME.It's just I'm thinking if there another way to fix the DME.

I never heard of anyone fixing such faults before on component level. But if you want to try I think you will have to use that app/device of yours called brain.

It's really hard to tell from the photos you posted as they are really crap quality. But it feels like there is much more damage to be repaired from that blown cap. Have you checked at least those blackened vias are still conducting? And I'm sure the main damage will be behind that cap you "replaced".

You will be lucky if they go all the way through the board. If they are not - it's really futile project to do.

P.S. You could also start from schematics, find which pins correspond to signals you get failures on and then trace them from there. But I'm pretty sure most of those blackened vias will be broken.

P.P.S. I'm afraid your soldering skills (looking at that cap "replaced") won't be enough to fix it (if it's possible at all, vias which go through just couple of layers are a pain in the nik'ta to be even checked, not speaking about fixing at all), but there is nothing to be lost if it doesn't work anyway.
