cic part number
Hello community!
i have a broken CIC with part number 9222863 from US M3 WBSWD9C50AP362583. Unfortunately it cannot be repaired. The car is from america, but is located in europe and therefore i need to find the used cic here. When I search by part number, I stumble upon the same parts in America. Are there European part numbers that would fit in this car? thinking Thanks in advance! |

RE: cic part number
I think the US has an extra FAKRA connector.

RE: cic part number
You have a couple of options.
1: just but a EU cic and FSC code it. 2: just but a EU cic and FSC code it and then reflash to the US firmware and maps when you get back. 3: just but a US cic and FSC code it. If it were me, Id get an EU cic and FSc code it to your car. When you return to the US, then get the correct cic for your car there (again FSC code it). Like bmchicago says, the US units have the extra Antanna connector |

What is this additional connector for and what to do with it in this case? just leave the wire as is? and everything will work without it |

The extra antenna is for the satellite radio I think, its not something we use in the EU. Just disconnect it behind the cic and leave it, it wont stop stuff working. |

RE: cic part number
If you buy a used CIC then get one with DAB+. They are not more expensive then a normal one if you look around. You then have the digital radio as an extra option. I retrofitted DAB+ to my F02 and don't regret it.

So i got the EU Unit and wanted to update it to last software version for patching. Now i have Programming status 12. Black screen and fan works. I used winkfp comfort mode with power supply , genuie icom next + most adapter. But i got Error 211. Then i tried to flash it in expert mode, also with v41 daten from another tread and became error 211 again. Could you take a look with TW? Coding in Germany

RE: cic part number
did you follow the correct order?
63 then 62 then a0? i assume the cd was attached and that the cd was empty? Also make sure that the icom next is running the latest version of firmware, i remember reading that cic should only be done with an icom A/B not a next as it had a bug (but this was supposed to be fixed in the latest version of NEXT firmware). |

RE: cic part number
The problem was solved by multiple attempts to update the modules. Icom A is hard to find, and I already updated the ccc without any problems. It looked as if the MOST was hanging up at an unnecessary moment and programming was interrupted.
Then everything was patched, certificates were generated and everything worked. Waiting for the next firmware update for NEXT, that will probably make him better. Coding in Germany
