Hi,
i would like to change the service from 15k / 12mon to 30k / 24mon (US -> ECE) So i changed VO 8KL to 8KA and JE73 to JB51. After resetting oil service, it's still 12mon. I read the DKOMBI2 coding an saw, that "CBS_INT_ZEIT_FZGCHK_INTERN" is still "12_monate" and the activation condition is true(), so it is 12_monate... no matter what the VO says. The CAFD is: CAFD_00002660_009_001_018 So i think US cars have another DKOMB2 software than ECE cars. Maybe some with a G30 (preferably a 540i) can post his ncd from cluster and DME, so i can compare. Thanks a lot! |

Easiest way to change it is with Ista if the car is in stock condition.

You changed the VO, but hopefully you also coded the correspending ECUs?

yes sure, i codes kombi, dme and nbt.
are u sure it's possible to do with ista, without coding with esys and change vo? |

sometimes coding does not take in DME on older vehicles with MEVD etc. Sometimes need manually change. Have you tried programming DME and then recode complete vehicle?

It is usually possible with ISTA. Just go to a retrofit (coding only) and all what is needed will be done.
