When you say it works, what do you mean exactly? Do you see the keys in AOS > KaSIO?

For me the device itself works, it saves the keyreader.bin to C:\Users\Public\keyreader but it seems the KAI key uploader service does not upload it to AOS.

I installed the following:
BMW_ISPI_ITOOLS-USBTrayApp_01.17.006.msi
BMW_ISPI_KAI-Decentral-Services_21.1.410.1.exe
BMW_ISPI_KAI_KeyUploader_Service_21.1.410.1.exe

Should the default config work or do I need to change something? Until now I was using the Keyreader Plus, could some config left over from it mess with settings?


EDIT: I installed those 3 mentioned programs on another PC and it worked right away, uploaded key info to AOS without any problems.
So it seems having had Keyreader Plus installed before somehow prevents it from working with Desktop Keyreader. I uninstalled and installed the programs again, but it didn't help. I guess there are some settings stored in registry? I will try to find them tomorrow...

EDIT2: Got it working on the PC where we had used Keyreader Plus before. Had to uninstall KAI service and uploader, manually delete their folders and registry entries. Then installed all 3 programs again and it worked.

Yes, I too confirm, that KeyReader Desktop is working properly with AOS Kasio when all tools available from download in AOS are installed.

To update... we ended up sending back the "Keyreader Plus Desktop" and having dealer send us the proper "Keyreader Plus". Once we had the "Keyreader Plus" it was a doddle to install - just followed the instructions on the KASIO home page and it has been working for months without any issues whatsoever.

Got the dektop key reader plus from the dealer and, after I installed the three softwares mentioned by M11, it works and uploads the key data to AOS
