Request for help flashing ecu with Esys
Hello! I built an F10 bench for the educational use of Esys. For the construction of the bench, I used modules that come from various cars. CAS4 -F010; ZGW F001. Wanting to make it F010, I saved a new FA generated for VIN from CAS. Before the FA change, ISTA read the car as F001. Now it's okay, but when I try to flash with Esys, when I do SVT calculations, I get an error. I do not know how to solve it because I am just taking the first steps with this program. All tips are appreciated.

It's standard fault. You need to either calculate files with higher I-step or use tool like construction preview from EsysX. I can take a look remotely and generate you files
Only BMW services:

RE: Request for help flashing ecu with Esys
When I save a higher I-step shipping, should it calculate correctly?

RE: Request for help flashing ecu with Esys
You can generate the SVT like the build ilevel from car.

RE: Request for help flashing ecu with Esys
Load VO, change ilevel to build ilevel, tick „construction preview“, press generate. It’s simple way.

RE: Request for help flashing ecu with Esys
I tried to do the calculation in the "Construction Progress" mode and I have to admit that it worked, but all blue lines (picture in the attachment). In the next steps also different than it should be. Does this mean that the ECU are updated to the highest available version?
A few weeks ago I was doing programming with CGDI. Is it possible to upload the latest dates? I still have a DDE from this bench that I did not program with CGDI. I will connect it to the bench and see how it will look like then. To make sure that I am doing everything correctly, I used a different bench FEM + platform and everything went fine there. After the calculation, there were blue and red lines. The programming was positive. However, I have another question, namely after programming this FEM Esys still shows the old I-Step. Do you have to uncheck something in the settings? do I always have to manually change the current I-Step? Thanks in advance for the hints. a lot of learning awaits me with this program |

RE: Request for help flashing ecu with Esys
For calculating flash use Read VO > Read ECU > tick "complete flash" > set iStep (shipm) to build ilevel, than press calculate.
Calculation in the "Construction Progress" only work with launcher esysx, not with esys alone. If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.
