Hello to all,

I have here BMW S1000R 2014 with changed engine unit. Unit (Bosch ME 17.2.4) and EWS module is from newer model 2017 year. Motorcycle starts but it doesn´t comunicate with fuel pump so the engine after few seconds stop itself because no fuel.
Client got correct engine unit (Bosch ME 17.2) with right part number. I flashed successfully motorcycle to latest i-level by ESYS and changed VIN in eeprom of the engine unit. Both units were readed with KTAG. Now ISTA detect correct VIN, vehicle order, i-level factory, actual all is as it have to be... Only thing is that bike doesn´t start because of ISN mismatch propably. Unfortunatelly I don´t know where is the ISN number stored in EEPROM file. Only information I know is, that ISN from ME 17.2.4 unit is correct and same as in EWS unit and ISN in ME 17.2 unit is bad.

Is here anybody who will be able to help me to change the ISN number? Or completelly disable IMMO in engine unit? In attachment is a file that contains full backup from ME 17.2 and ME 17.2.4 unit. I need to get ISN number from ME 17.2.4 unit to ME 17.2 unit.

The next think is FSC pack. Can someone please download FSC kit from BMW? Right now the engine unit ME 17.2 don´t have any FSC certificate saved inside. So I suppose there won´t be any problem with loading them. Motorcycle VIN is Z401884.

- S1000R 2014 with kit ECU 2017, you don't change speedo ... ? Only ECU that it ?

You can buy Alpha racing kit for diable IMMO, but you can't change ISN number in EWS (for memory don't have any number on this)

If you have VIN + ECU programming, and if you have paper of this vin, you can go directly buy key at BMW pre-coded and working directly on your bike


-> For information, do you have name of software or tutorial for flash VIN in ECU ?

Tmpro can make you new ews dump feom ecu engine and flash to ews and make new transponder
so you can start bike

2014 engine will not run with 2017 ecu . Exhaust camshaft is different. different sensor as well. 2017 bmsmp ecu used dufferent fuel module control to earlier models and wont run fuel pump. wiring harness changes with bmsmp ecu compared to bmsx or bmsk-8
