The test is after I flashed the car. Couldn`t take pictures whilst flashing as I didn`t want to open the door.
The laptop was charging, max AC on and on ignition and drain is ~30Amp, without AC is 15Amp.

Hi XuLeTZ,

Do you have a close up picture of the power cables connected to the +12v and GND connectors - did you drill through the PCB?

I've seen some people saying they've killed these PSUs by drilling through the common slot connector.

I currently have a Ctek pro25s 25A with suplly mode....

Have any of you done a vehicle update with this unit or would it be better to get a more powerful one?

I think just to code it will probably do, but what about flashing/updating?
I drive a F11 LCI drive

Best regards

Telwin Doctor Charger 50 or 130, 50 is good enough for flashing.... Or you can make your self charger from server power supply, easy and cheap...

Hello.
I bought a Telwin Doctor Charge 50 to FDL code and flash my BMW F10 LCI , but after trying to flash 3 modules like the NBT EVO i contacted the webshop where i bought the Telwin Doctor Charger 50 and asked if i could return it and buy the Telwin Doctor Charger 130 instead. I did this because at some moments the power drawn was more then 60 AMP and i did not wanted to take a chance on destroying some modules, now with the Telwin Doctor Charger130 i have no problems at all because the
Telwin Doctor Charger130 can deliver up to 130 AMP while the Telwin Doctor Charger50 only reaches at 40 AMP stable with a peak of 45 AMP.

If I help you, please push thanks and reputation.  under

Hi XuLeTZ,

I've seen some people saying they've killed these PSUs by drilling through the common slot connector.

Yes, I drilled them with the smallest drill first, 4mm after and 6 for last one. After that with 6mm bolts I secured the copper terminal connectors (4awg/25mm-100Amp)
Will try a picture later when I get home, at work currently

Anywhere as long you don’t go over the copper bits

I have never had a problem with Doctor 50 for flashing,  but I believe that if the battery is below a certain percentage 20 or 30% etc, then it must be stronger one. The middle is the best 75Amps.. Model 130 is definitely excellent. The only complaint I have about Doctor 50 is the connector and cables that connect to the battery, I had to connect that directly. But that charger served me for a long time
smile But I agree, model 130 is much better but also more money...
