hello, i need a coding tool for new cars, audi a5 2017-2018 to disable start stop, to activate vim.
for old cars i have VCDS and is very good but on the new models can't do anything

what is the best for coding ?

get vas tool....any like 5054, 6154(A) OEM, or svci6154a. use odis-e or vctool, or even get vcp OEM and forget for the rest...

Best solution for start-stop is an aftermarket cable between button and car harness (plug and play). Will remember your last pressed command.
Or you could deactivate with vcds or vcp, are a lot of tutorials on youtube, just search.
For VIM, VCP or mib2toolbox (for vw works for sure, on audi never tried)
