Alie ntech send to me in year 2013 this mod, because kessv2 has a problem to unlock correctly this ecu, then solved with new version software

now him no have connection on ecu because eprom 95640 is corrupt, if with resitor ecu alive in diagnosis him can to write the eprom read before for unlock ecu, in this case can try to unlock ecu with kess on bench

but...

my idea was to switch to bootmode by kess (via the resistors) and try to reinject the eprom (without going through id)

    i just got this ecu back, this is what i done, 1st read with ktag unlock, saved and when asked by ktag to write file back, i wrote back 1st read eeprom, not patch, patch eeprom was not there, i read again with unlock procedure and this time i getpatch eeprom so i write with ktag and no comm's, tomorrow i will try the repair in the past post and report back, cheers all

hi,  normally unlock is done on 0x24A and next bytes (8bytes total) next 64bytes are usually 00 

in Your eeprom on 0x24A was done unlock 8bytes, but there are also extra data - 40bytes more......

I dont know what does it mean, think so the ecu was not in original state and for this eeprom was need some kind of extra unlock.....

I may be saying something stupid. But if you recover the com with injection of the ori eprom via ktag why not try unlocking via kess to see if it works
