I need to reflash the engine ecu that's why I ordered the XPT.
Is it possible to do with XDOS online flash updates and coding?

Yes, but only for DOIP vehicles, forget about any process that requires an online connection if you do not have a legitimate account.

if you have legit account xentry pt , then yes original openport tatrix ( not clone from china ) will work ok for online engine ecu flash.

I have also Ford VCMII, any chance to make it work with XPT?

install the odb driver first then plug the device then it will show the option, doip means only E-NET cable works for DOIP ECU only CAN line is needed for such work so buy the above device or a pass-thru open device not locked to some license, etc

The DoIP/CAN I bought was specially developed for the Xentry PT.

They emailed me the following:
"Hello,

the adapter was designed for Mercedes Benz Xentry pass thru and requires no driver or additional software."



I have tried several PT J2534 interfaces even my original AVDI J2534 PT does not work on the Xentry PT although after starting Xentry PT the various interfaces are visible in the passthru list

Now I wonder if it is some interface configuration on my computer or in Xentry itself.

that adapter is just an eobd lan adapter and no driver needed but it will only work with doip vehicles, for everything else you will need a PT adapter.

But I tried several J2534 adapter.
They does'nt work.

Hope some one can take a look what's wrong.

At the beginning you said that it only let you select the DOIP device, as long as you don't properly install the Passthru drivers for each device you want to test and offer it to you in that window it won't work.
