Help with zb number
Hi all, i have an e60 with a transmission swap from 335d to 530d zf 6hp
Egs isn reset, egs coded to car, but want to flash because currently in sport mode it doesnt stay in gear, it auto changes when it goes up through the rev range. Car VIN WBANJ72060B500884 Donor vin WBAWD72030PV99954 ecufinder suggests: 7595728 base ecu number in ecufinder is 7566895 base zb number is 7569996 gs19D part no 7566895 can someone help me find correct zb number to flash EGS sucessfully? thank you |

IMHO reason is because it's hard to say anything. 7566895 hardware was NOT used on E60. So, unless someone tried to put exactly SAME and flash it to something, no one can get you a number which would definitely work or not work.
Now I have no idea how you managed to find 7595728, because it was ALSO never used in E60. |

You could try 7569994, which is STILL for E90, but AT LEAST for (hopefully) correct engine AND same EGS HW.

Just start ISTA-P, let it read the car and it will give you the correct ZBE. Other method is to read other car with updated EGS, but...ISTA-P is easiest way.
