With Script activation is possible update maps, just "activate" FSC´s with FSTool. and not reboot Unit. not need to add emulator.


Just update my CIC yesterday, with this. burned in DVD, work Perfect

Sorry guys, when I do to burn the extracted folder from europe_west_premium, the CDBurnerXP asking me to split in 6 dvd because the file size is large. is normal ,It is sure that then runs the update? ??? unfortunately in my case I can not use the usb key 32gb because I have not updated the firmware of the cic.

You need dual layer (DL) DVDs. These can hold up to 8.5GB i.e. twice the size of regular DVD. They are more expensive though.

After updating to this map version, perspective map 3d is greyed out. i did not enter a wrong fsc and i do not have selected traffic info...

what could be the cause?

@duckdonald can you tell me a little procedure how to have all maps on DVD DL..? how to divide the 20GB in 3 dvd-dl and how to burn them correctly. Thanks

once unzipped the downloaded file, you get 3 folders.
Burn the contents of each folder on the DVD-DL. (The content, not the folder DVD)
