Hello,

I bought a Xgecu pro TL866II Plus programmer a year and a half ago with lots of adapters.
I've never used it until today and when I want to read a chip, it turns out that I have 3 programmer pins that don't work and that necessarily blocks everything.

The repair would be really painful to do and I don't want to spend my time with it. Which programmer can I buy ?

I will have occasional use of the device and I intend to use it only for chips on automotive ECUs between 1995 and 1999.

are you using a clip or soic adapter, i have tl866 but i always remove chip and use clip to grab the chip off the bench, the soic 8 adapter doesn't work well

the problem is that without a chip the programmer goes off.

Normally on these programmers the drive is green but on mine it is black. It's a fake ?

ahh, tl866 is handy, original is not expensive, regular updates

you can check on xgecu official site if its original or clone . try to update its software they adding updates and new chips and software also for it

go to website xgpro and download latest software

I installed the latest update before plugging in the programmer. 12.45 I think.

I'll see if I can find a way to tell a real one from a fake one.
