Thanks. I tried an earlier esys and got same problem if i recall well but let me give it another go. Maybe I was already anxious at the time. By the way is there a way to test tal calculation without connecting to an actual car?

Of course, just load the required SVT etc and when it asks to connect just choose and connection and let it fail to connect. Now you have PDX info loaded for working like you were connected correctly.

I usually get these type of error when open svt from newer esys version like 3.38 in old version. Maybe just delete every entry of the error(SfaMasterEnabled) in the svt. Or use one version of esys to do everything( reading svt and calculating tal). But it seems weird that 3.30 also brings that error. Esys 3.30 doesnt include SfaMasterEnabled in ecuDetailInfo section in the svt.

This is rather funny. Offline it does the calculation despite the errors. When connected to the car it was not proceeding to TAL calculation!

I have created the files offline. Will try use them to flash FEM and update car tomorrow.

And of course as Davy mentioned, new Esys wants to deinstall the FEM!! Ridiculous.

And AGAIN! This was discussed in this forum MANY TIMES already. You CANNOT just slam any part into any car, use some crap FA and expect ESys to fix YOUR crap for you.

According to your FA this car has factory iLevel of 14-11, however ETK says it's actually SHOULD be F020-14-07-505. That's the FIRST thing. I'm investigating further.

This car needs part with HWEL 00000792_000_004_011, you slammed 00000792_000_004_002 into it. _002 was used from factory UP TO F020-11-11-502. So your part is AT LEAST about 3 years TOO OLD. So OF COURSE Esys want to deinstall your FEM. I'm surprised older one does NOT want to do that, but maybe it's just tool old to consider HWAPs.

Now, the FEM that IS REQUIRED in this car must have part number 2747445 (or replacement 9380219). Such a part needs to have a SPECIFIC set of HWAPs: F26, F2B, F2C, F2D, F2E, F30, F32, 1263. According to YOUR ist your FEM DOES NOT have F2D: HW_OPTION_BODY_LC_WELCOME. So it does not have welcome lights (?).

Now in THIS SPECIFIC case you can click "Use HWID from actual" and potentially it could work (just because I checked and ALL firmware ids from this unit are THE SAME as on the unit you need, I'm just not sure about missing hardware capability).

Well.... Esys 3.40 did the job first time!!! No errors at all. FEM flashed perfectly, coded perfectly. So surprised the new Esys 22.0 can cause such strange issues. Sometimes the software gets broken when updated !! Thanks guys
