I looked though FEW pages of post but couldn't find Feedbacks for Autel IM608

Please add your experience with Autel Tool(s)


So i tried today with 2010 e90 CAS3++ 0L15Y
First i tried reading and writing on bench CAS3++(saved EEPROM/Flash) made a key file and reflashed it back to CAS3++
Installed it back in car, 

BAD NEWS:
Key #1(original that came with car) Starts the car, FOB Works
Key#2 that i made FOB Does NOT WORK, WORST OF ALL Key that i made via bench stopped starting a car after 3rd time and ignition did not responded on 3rd try
See attached Picture, CAS3+ lost serial number, so i couldn't flush it or coded via autel stand a lone procedures.


GOOD NEWS:
I tried via OBDII via Wizard and i was able to Add another fresh key, start car but FOB did not work, 
So i tried encoding and flashing CAS3++ via Autel IM608 .....
I'm pretty sure i got some extra gray hair!!!!! 
During flashing process Autel IM608 stopped in middle of %50, * 3 times (CAS3 was not responding) and after 4th time it finished at %100(15~25 minutes waiting at %50 progress and  calling to local dealer asking how long for new CAS3 to arrive)
After it re-flashed(35~45 Minutes later) Newly created FOB/Key worked and started car already 10 times without loosing memory or settings and door locks working

I was able to unlock freshly programed KEY/FOB via file that i read from CAS

READING ISN NUMBER FROM 2011 e90 DME801
Autel IM608 downloaded flash from DME,
Then uploads same flash back to DME
Then downloads flash AGAIN from DME
(Autel does not give you an option to save flash during ISN read procedure but there is another option to save flash via OBDII)
and then it give ISN and TRICODE Numbers
After it gives number Autel IM608 AUTOMATICALLY Clears ALL ERROR Codes
Total time around 10~12 Minutes

Coding Speedometer to see V-Speed, but when coding it, it does not work, E90

So i would say: save EEPROM and FLASH Files just in case, but ONLY DO Keys via OBDII for e90

At CAS3++ if you have working key I always remove CAS and do it on the bench with programmer .
That is very fast job and without risk of damaging CAS data .
What I am concerned about IM608 is the policy of AUTEL is changing for bad. They has restricted many of functions on IM608 .
I have used many functions on MB for coding and programming before which are disabled now.
Cant do programming of modules ,coding of seat mat ....
Anual subscription is more then 800 usd which is pritty high comparing to the IM508.
In fact, I don't know where is the difference anymore between these two interfaces coz they have almost the same functions.

I paid $520 to update my IM608(talking to FEW Autel dealers, Autel makes sellers sell for one price or they ban them, so Autel Dealers now sell on website one price($100) via Skype another price($60) and via email 3rd price($65~70), lower then website) 
Side NOTE:
In USA California: Specialized shops and Dealers are straggling now to get costumers in
Specialized shops getting rid of an Autel tools, Autologic and moving to TOPDON now, even LaunchTech dropped price on their official tools and added more VAG Support(BUT their translation to ENG is a JOKE)

Hi,
I`ve IM508+XP400Pro. And i made two BMW E60 just add keys by OBD. Very simply and fast.
Also made few MB keys by obd. PW calculation 2-3 min. Added BE keys.
So far working ok. Im using second year. Renew for year cost me 299€.

Good News
Able to read and save data 
Able to save and write coding
Able to make key 
Able to read data via IR_Key

W204 EIS
Able to read "SOME_NOT Full, No VIN/PWD/Etc..." data via IR_key

Toyota Echo 2001~2006
Able to read and write EEPROM From IC8 of a Speedometer


Bad news
W211 Unable to clear/erase data from EIS to use it as donor for future 
W204 unable to read EEPROM with or without G_BOX


Spoke to Autel Rep, Rep said if you have problem during any procedure to send logs/data to Autel via Upper_Right_Icon(looks like msg icon), App for that MSG APP stop's working during IR_Key reading data So Autel needs to be restarted.....
EDIT: Called Autel, Autel rep log-in inside my tool looked at it and said because it does not exist now he can not fix it, 
Autel Rep told me if you have problem call autel when you have problem, autel will log-in remotely and determent if it's user error or autel needs fixing and will fix it in future updates

Today i TRIED connecting to 1996~1997 Mercedes E320(w210.055) and here is message that i got from Autel(see attached)


I was able to choose other make(bodystyle) with similar engine and Autel was able to read HALF OF THE TIME every_second_third_time(reading live data)
Sometimes it showed 4 cylinders and another time it showed 6 cylinders

It was able to Identify ME 

Samething goes for the Key, CAN NOT MAKE KEY for 210.050

EDIT: Called Autel today, Autel said if car is 1999 and older then Autel will not work and Autel will not fix it, But if car is 2020 and younger then Autel will try to fix it in future updates.

(Called Autel today, redid same procedure and xp400 and xp400pro was able to detect frequency, Autel rep said it happens many times with other clients when one day Autel can not do something and the other day Autel can work no problem) 


Able to identify Keys and tell if they are locked or not

For someone who will save 32byte sync data from VAG MQB System

Works only if ori key is avaible.


- read immodata and save the CS
- generate with CS and data from ori key a dealer key
- do not learn the key
- in key menu read the key and read the eeprom from the dealer key and save it
- now you can learn the dealer key to the car.

If sometime this car have an AKL situation you can learn the key with CS und syncdata which you have saved.

Here you find the syncdata in the keyeeprom which are readed after generated dealer key
