There is no official retrofit that I know of.

To OP: Yes, it is possible. But given your car is barely 1 year old, you could loose quite much warranty. And it's quite labour intensive as you need to pull new ethernet wires from the trunk lid to front passenger foot area.

IMHO there should be no secure coding units in your car, so coding won't be an issue.

OK, this is off topic, but just so you know - VIN number IS personal data and that was confirmed by courts. At least in EU according to GDPR and OPs car is from EU, don't know about OP. So EVERYTHING that is tied to that is ALSO personal data.

And in most of "public" sites (except totally shady ones) you confirm, that you have a legal right to decode that specific VIN. Well, OP published his VIN, so we have the right to decode it in order to answer the question. But we do NOT have the right to use that data in ANY OTHER way (including publishing it publicly).

P.S. I'm not a lawyer so my explanation may not be perfect, but I believe it's correct.
