xprog in the bottom of the garbage, i took some advice from a member here and purchased a good vvdi, hopefully we can put an end to this lesson in how to not f@k about with micronas chip unless you're absolutely sure you know what you're doing
DON'T TOUCH, VERY DELICATE

For Micronas you will have to use X-prog , I did many dashboard repair with it. I use version 5.5.1 . The downgrade its not so complicated and I believe you will do it.

use UPA-USB Device Programmer or any other programmer to programme atmega64

1. Earse Chip (Atmega64)
2. fuse bytes like in photo fuse bits.jpg and clic program ( Fuse bits first, Lock bits the last)
3. Write Flash
4. Write Eeprom
5. After write flash and eeprom configurate Lock Bytes see photo lock bits.jpg and clic program

hi pepi, i have already downgraded from 5.55 to 5.11 but still security access error, all authorisations are green, it reads 24c32 eeproms ok but not micronas, i'm going to try upgrade to 5.84 today but the jtag connection pads are very delicate so im going to try read without soldering, using bdm probes but i think they might be too long, i will try

if you have patience you can make your life easyer, yes pads are delicate, i made two adapters for this job because i need to read these very often. so not much profesional but works  i think your device is the problem, i buyed myne 5.55 for a little bit higher price but from seller with high quality components used.

Great thinking, I was thinking about something similar but this is much better, I have all the components here, I'll get to work,  I also believe that it's crap hardware evg_eni, I'll try once more with 5.84 after I build one of your connectors, cheers I notice when micronas adapter is attached to xprog the S/N is not present and there's also an option to update certificate, this I haven't done, could this be a problem ?
