Cleared VIN but can’t flash with esys getting an error. There was only 2 short found in this eeprom. Any idea what can it be ? Cluster works but has red dot mileage is correct as it was higher than what the cluster had. HUD does not work as well.

Have you checked is your tal is ok? The error shows some mismatch

LEARN to use ESys and you will be able to flash it. That ESys error is the operator's fault. Of course I can't tell you what exactly from THE CRAP PICTURE because the relevant information IS OUTSIDE of your screen.

P.S. virgin dumps will NOT help you flash in this case...

Touch it and red dot is gone. No need for flashing, virgin dumps etc.

Seems to be that ACDP does not support this kind of EEPROM.

There are several cheap programmers that can do the job.

Also have hexprog looks like i should be able to read it with that.

need to get this cluster back and do vin erase on the 2nd eeprom.
6WB came from 7 series so that is the reason the HUD is probably not working and it might be the reason why it didn't want to flash with esys.
