The diagnosis monitors lines between the heat management module and the dme.
Fault monitoring conditions: the fault is detected when the power consumption of the heat management module is too high.
Temperature precondition: - none
Time precondition: - none
Other preconditions: - none
Control unit voltage: 9 V to 16 V. Terminal 15 on.
The fault is entered immediately.
Check lines and plug connections between the following components:
- dme.
- heat management module.
Carry out functional check. Renew heat management module.
- engine overheating and power reduction may occur.
- restricted air conditioning of the passenger compartment.
Malfunction indicator lamp. The fault code can only be deleted after a terminal change.

Maybe you can call it thermostat. On some engines thermostat is integrated with a pump. This is not that. I would hesitate to call this lump a thermostat.

Maybe you need to replace it. Depends on whether the problem is in it or in wires/connectors.
