Hi to all,

As stated in the title, please also refer to the attachments and advise what this module is sitting on the most bus and how to handle this. I've reset all modules to default with NCSexpert. 

PS.
I've also removed the iPhone cradle with an "axe method," but this cannot cause it because it is not a MOST module.

Everything works fine on the car but I want to update CIC module with Ista-P or WinKFP (and load new maps via USB).

This is 2009 530d LCI with factory Navi Professional S609

It's not a separate module. It's an "area/part" of CIC where main applications run. And which most frequently crashes while updating

No magic bullet solution though... There are cases when you need to resolder some BGAs inside CIC to fix it.

CIC upgreaded successfully to C16. I have CIC installed from the factory. Do I need to deal with the FSC codes stuff  if I wish to upgrade it further to C1A?

usually just bug fixes. The 2009 CIC units have a lot of hardware problems. your lucky to have recovered it. Dont push your luck trying with the latest firmware.

Latest version only gives you more language options nothing more
