Hey guys,
my car 2004/3 BMW ECE E60 530i MS45.0
I got the bad luck, my original DME is dead(short to GND), car still been drive possible, engine running well, also correct CAS key function(lock & unlock), but no any signal responce(OBD to me) and some control function lost(E-box fan not run etc). Then I get a used DME from a E60 530i close model from mine(only one difference is prod. year 2003), I choose the way is swap the eeprom(AMD AM29BL802CB, below MPC555), then I doing the EWS-CAS sync via INPA and show success, I re-insert key, but NO start.(check EWS satu via TOOL32, it locked)
I didn't do any programming operation(still donor's VIN) cause I have no any about EWS, ISN, MPC... etc experence , and I also thought the programming isn't necessary. it doesn't metter between them. did I wrong?
