R1200GS quickshifter retrofit
A friend asked me if he buys an used quickshifter for his R1200GS, to retrofit (doesn't have from factory), FSC code is required? Or adding in VO will work?

Find the Teile number of the FSC (maybe:13618545879) from the ETK and ask the local dealer for the price! It's not so terribly priced. ~50€
Only from 2013/09 "R 1200 GS (K50) ab Modelljahr 2014 (ab VIN Z128290 (ECE) / Z184816 (US) sowie für China zusätzlich gem. Anhang)" Vojnó

Dealer... trust me, I know much more about coding bikes than them (and I don't know too much), their best mechanic is my friend and he calls me from time to time to ask me stuff.
 They've asked ~500euros for retrofitting a new QS. I'll try to get that part number for FSC and ask them about price. Thanks! |

The situation is familiar here as well (Hungary), but it is not dire!
 The dealer also sends the customer to me, which he can't deal with, but that's okay we help each other!  If you know the VIN, then you find the FSC part number!
