Hallo all,
we are looking for a 4/4 parts PREMIUM Map - just to see the structure how the files have to be split up to the 4 DVD's.

As there are a fews CIC High cars out there with a stock I-Level and can only update map via DVD, we want to try getting the 4/4 parts PREMIUM 2024-1 working.

Therefore a 4/4 parts PREMIUM map would be perfect, just to adapt the structure to the 2024-1 version - and the we hope that it works.

Known 4/4 part premium versions are:

- 2016-2 North America
- 2018-1 North America

Probably someone still has it and could provide one of this maps - i think screenshots could be good also!

i would update i level istap or win kfp , then could except usb map , not sure if splitting is possible any longer .

This is not simply a matter of restructuring the Single USB version into 4 Parts. The 4-Part DVD version has different .pkg and pkg.sig files.

I know how to update I-Level on Headunit - but there are people that do not want to risk bricking the FRM or soemthing else - they only want to do map update with DVD.

There is a 4 parts version of 2024-1, but no information how to split that up - that is why we want to give it a try and are searching for an old 4 parts version to adapt the structure.

I’ll send you photos in the morning of each part from 4 part NA premium 2018-1 map I found, some differences in the files between eu and NA maps but can make a decent educated guess from these I expect. Don’t know if the 4 part 2024-1 map actually works properly but worth a try. Thanks

As discussed here's the file layouts for NA 2018-1 map, majority of the folders and files are the same and obvious where they should go so hopefully can get the right layouts for EU 2024-1 4 part with minimal effort...

Hallo all - first thanks to dumitru.o for providing the 2021-1 NA DVD.

I tried to adapt the structure of the NA Premium 2021-1 4/4 DVD version to the Europe West Premium 2024-1 4/4 DVD version.

Every folder found it's place on one of the 4 DVD's - except the folder "GUIDEDTOUR_ECE_1_14_0" - it remained after adapting the structure.
So i decided to copy this "GUIDEDTOUR_ECE_1_14_0" folder to each of the 4 DVDs. Better to habe it everywhere than on the wrong DVD.

Also the 17x pkg/sig - i copied to all 4 DVD folders, because each of it only has a few files and the structure/filenames have been a little bit different
to the NA version.

Final result:

DVD1 - 5,12GB
DVD2 - 5,24GB
DVD3 - 9,62GB / 8,41GB (without "GUIDEDTOUR_ECE_1_14_0" folder)
DVD4 - 7,45GB

DVD 1, 2, 4 are small enough to fit on a DVD-R / DVD+R DL DVD - but DVD3 is to big - even if i delete the "GUIDEDTOUR_ECE_1_14_0" folder....
That is the main problem.....

The question now is - can some files/folders be deleted from the DVD3 without having any issues?
- Probably one of the satellite folders? I think it is for the option "Satellite-View" - that noboby really needs...to get the DVD small enough to fit
on a DVD-R / DVD+R DL DVD with 7,957GiB of space?
--> The 2 big files in the 2 Satellite-Folders "TN0812EU00A0911I197.4_4.0.ATLAS" = 2GiB & "TN0812EU00A0911I197.4_4.1.ATLAS" 1,2GiB are always the same - as in the versions before - 2023, 2020... i compare filenames and size = identical.

At the moment, i do not have a CIC car to test, probably someone has a Bench CIC on the table or a CIC car to test?
- First to test should be if the structure / spliting i did finally works - with 4 USB-Sticks (to avoid burning a lot of DVDs)
--> If it installs successfully, try and test it without folder "GUIDEDTOUR_ECE_1_14_0" on DVD 3
--> If it also installs successfully we should test if we can delete some files on DVD 3 to make it smaller than 7,957GiB.

Would be great if someone is also interested in this experiment and could support!
