Hi,
Does anyone have a database for ELSAWIN for VW Commercial Vehicles?
I think the latest is 2017-01

Commercial Vehicles is installed automatically when you instal VW database.
01.2016 for english (and other) languages.
01.2017 just for german language.

Both 01.2016 and 01.2017 VW databases are installed but I can't find or select Crafter from the list.

I installed both English and German ELSA and created an account in German, yet I don't see commercial vehicles.

I also see in some topics that there is 2018-04 data available

superetka.com/elsa/ has Crafter but I don't.

This is my order of installation

or when in English

CD Version - Commercial Vehicles:2013-06 Plus
CD Version - Volkswagen:2013-06 Plus
CD Version - Seat: 2014-01 Plus

Well this is confusing

Hi...............
As you must notice you used older database bands disks or i bet you used bad modded ones.......... (Not exist officially any 'Plus')........
Also have in your mind that you cant to have the 2017 German database disks on top of the 2016 English ones..........
For the 2017 German database you must have the Elsawin installed in German language to use only German language and to have installed only the two VW and Audi related German database disks and not at all the Seat and/or Skoda...............

I have installations downloaded from here. Discs are fully installed, and everything went okay when installing, even VW 2017 DE on top of VW 2016 EN.
I understand now. For 2017 Audi i VW in DE I will install separate ElsaWin. For EN the rest. Ok.

Is it possible to have TWO ELSAWin on the same machine?

EDIT: I do have Passat 2018 in DE language in my current ELSAWIN installation where I installed both EN & DE versions together.

EDIT2: 2018 Passat is shown in EN language also. Does 2016 CD contains 2018 models?

Ok, so my findings are these after a week of uninstalling/installing
I might have had Commercial Vehicles all the time but was stupid enough to miss it in the drop-down menu and was looking under Volkswagen. I don't know for sure, as I decided to reinstall everything.

In my test scenario, it seems you can have both VW & Audi 2017/2018 DE-only data files installed on top 2016 EN (and DE) version.

I also found that even though SKODA 2013-02 can be installed on clean ELSAWIN 6.0 it will not work. Installation of ELSAWIN 4,0 and then SKODA 2013-02 was mandatory. Also, I edited some MDB database files and created new CAB files so upgrading to ELSAWIN 5.0 or 6.0 goes smoothly and without any need to manually delete or replace files.

So my installation order is like this:

1. Adobe Reader
2. SVG viewer
3. ELSAWIN 4.0 with both EN (UK) and DE (GER) languages selected
4. SKODA 2013-02 (modified)
5. ELSAWIN 6.0
7. Common Files 2014-03
8. SEAT 2015-01
6. VW 2015-04
7. VW 2016-01
8 VW 2017-01 (DE only)
9. VW 2018_04 (DE only)
10. Audi 2015-05
11. Audi 2016-02
12. Audi 2017-03 (DE only
13. Audi 2017-04 (DE only)
14. Audi 2018-04 (DE only)

Note: Maybe, there was no need for Audi 2017-03 but I had it and installed it.

In ELSAWIN I created two normal accounts, one in EN, and one in DE language.

So when some car does not exist in EN and shows "Section blocked", I switch to a DE account and use that one to get results in the German language.

I hope this info will help some while installing ELSAWIN.

Yes i install seat and skoda at the end !!
