Hi everyone.

my wife has an Audi A3 model 2009 2.0 TFSI CCZA engine.
Yesterday she rang me that she has the EML on.
I checked it with VCDS and we got the error:
008213 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)
P2015 - 000 - Implausible Signal - MIL ON

The code is now deleted and the EML is gone, but this is the 2nd time the EML has appeared and I`d like to have it fixed.
Any ideas? Do I need to change the entire manifold?

is the common prob on that engines
you can see with vcds if your potentiometer read correct the position of flaps and if is possible re-calibrate.if you are lucky you replace sensor-calibrate-done.
in the bad case who have good sensor then some internal flaps problem (stuck or broken).
the easy way is to remove and delete it from ecu sw.

That’s a problem
Is my wife’s car and she doesn’t want anything deleted. Is a nice engine as it is, but I wanted to delete the charcoal canister as well but she says NO.
So I guess my only option here is to replace the manifold? Is the manifold coming with the flaps?

so if the "big boss" dont wanna delete it then start with cheapest way,
take a new one sensor ,calibrate and drive.
if error come back again then remove manifold and check if the flaps stuck-broke.
on the last and more expensive case you can see in attachment

I need one more favor if possible. Where can I find the sensor? I don’t have a clue how to search for it. Is CCZA engine code.

I replaced the entire manifold but same issue
P2015 and P2004 (Manifold flap stuck open)
Went into VCDS for basic settings on the engine module, group 142 (intake runner flap adaptation) and the actual position when idle is 3.9% and 99.2% when reving and cca 3.880V offset.
Adaptation comes up with ERROR after ADP. Run.
Any ideas please? Video link in the text doc attached.

The manifold is the one from HERE that says is coming with gaskets/seals, with angular position sensor, with adjuster.
What else can I replace or look for please? I can delete the errors but they will show up again next day or after 2 days.

Did you check that manifol actuator has the entire range movement? The failure is common when you have a dirty manifol and the last one, when you have a worn flaps

I replaced the entire manifold with brand new one.
It has good movement when I`m doing it by hand
