SWAP Gearbox DQ250 to DQ381
Hi, I would like to SWAP the DSG gearbox in the Passat B8. A car that has a DQ250 to replace with a DQ381. One car is from 2017 and the other is from 2019 before FL. Has anyone done this swap? Is the immobilizer easy to add? will it be no problem to do it online?

I think that adaptation online will not be possible. For offline adaptation, a full reading of the original and the donor is required.

Both cars will be standing next to each other so it's not a problem, I'm more wondering if it will be possible to remove CP and write Immo without any problems

the best and easiest way is making immo off, but I think engine and TCM softwares are not compatible each other

For interested. The SWAP was successful, it was possible to assign a new GEARBOX to the car without any problems and it was done online
