Replace agm with standart

Replace agm with standart
We know that car charges agm. With 15v too. This is high for standart battery. (Not for agm) So after replacing we register the new battery but alternator will still charge it with 15v as car do not know that it is standart instead of agm. How can we learn car to charge with maximum 14.3v with ista? This will increase standart batteries life.

No car charges battery with 15.2V. Check charge controller from generator. The absolut maximum is 14,7-14,8V

Totally wrong you are and dont know what are you talking.
Bmw with working ibs indeed charges with little over 15V for small time, especially when it it cold teml (ibs have its temp sensor) and it is totally acceptable.

For non agm,it is not good to charge avive 14.3v.
For agm, it is.

If you are so clever, than write which fact is wrong exactly. Above 14.3v kills standart batteries.

P.s.
Question was different.

RE: Replace agm with standart
Zero9 just brought to you attention that your understanding "not good to charge avive (above?) 14.3V" is WRONG. It is HEAVILY temperature dependant. And even MORE so for normal battery, than AGM. While it is true when battery temperature is like 30°C, if it is -30°C, it is PERFECTLY safe to charge with circa 16V (somewhat depends on actual battery model).

That's first. Second - absolutely no specification which model you are talking about.

Factory who produces standart batteries, does not recommend to charge above 14.3v because temperature increases and than liquid from battery loses.

Agm will last for example 4 years and standart 2 years if we charge both with 15v. But if we charge with 14.5, agm will last 5 and standart 3.

Does not matter model. At least car charges standart batteries different than agms. So question is below again. No one answeres question.

Any f series, how to teach not to charge with high voltages when there is standart vattery instead of agm. Ista battery registering does not do this.

It was towards @user_530d :

You can try to unplug BSD/LIN connector at alternator to get it in "limp" mode, so ecu wont control it anymore. And then see if alternator still produces "not correct" voltage

That will make battery to be charged lover than 15v.

Again question is above and noone answered.

You have problem to address correct (all) information - when, for how long etc., in your question and yet still acting cocky. We wont sit and pull out answers from you.
Good luck

I have ak-motion data display installed in my f10 car with agm battery.
The highest voltage i was ever seen was 14,8V.

Over this voltage is wrong.
