RE: setup Dhcp Bmw Icom error
I have ever since ICOM next firmware update 3-15-08 had issues with not being able to program MOST control units with ISTA and router. Probably due to ICOM DHCP update. I have used the same setup since day one that worked without any issues programming on MOST, 192.168.0.1 configured with 192.168.0.150 ip.
Now however i have issues with direct connection with ICOM and PC for programming update. Getting error "Faulty ICOM vehicle connection. The programming scopes are therefore not available". Anyone have an idea? DHCP is configured in ICOM, 192.168.4.1 IP. Tried forcing USB firmware update also makes no difference. Programming with Esys works without issues. RE: setup Dhcp Bmw Icom error
Finally what's correct? I'm lost with this "new info".
ICOM (OEM with newest software) - Discovery Mode without any IP Router - needed or not? Laptop - LAN / WLAN without any IP totally Automatic gathering? I'm lost and stupid now. I'm never doing ilevel update with NBT but sometime i do with 6WA with CIC in static IP in ICOM and Lan Card and netsetman software. |
