Hi guys

I’m looking to buy a device to use with ODIS E, but I’m a bit lost. 

I see too much 5054 and 6154 clones over there. And the VXDiag VCX SE. 

Read that there are some original 5054 second hand for about 150-200€ but I can’t find any. 

I want to use it to flash offline my ECU, but maybe learn how to use ODIS for other uses would be good. 

I want a device that works in Windows 10/11, and better in a VM, because I only have a MacBook with M1 chip, so I have a VM with Windows 11 ARM.

Chinese VAS6154 can’t flash. It’s just a VXDiag board in a 6154 case.

Yeah, they all say that you can find original 5054A with 150€, forget about it, you won’t find it.
150€ is a good clone, original is over 300€.

I recommend the red VNCI 6154A too! That one works. For about 120 EUR it's the best clone you can buy!
Personally I use the original 6154A and have this VNCI as a backup just in case...

Please tell me one thing that you can do with VNCI and you cannot do with 5054A.
If you recommend VNCI, you should know a couple of reasons, no ?

First, it was yellow VNCI, after the company sold for 1 year they stop selling it. And people who bought got their interfaces blocked without possibility of runing newer version of ODIS because the seller stopped releasing newer firmware for it.
Now, it’s red VNCI, probably will have the same end as the yellow one because you can change serial number just 1 time.

now the pdu api 26

you dont nedd to modify any think on the odis.

the vas5054a will not work under windiws 10 or 11 you need to modify the driver and the same with odis you need to modify the odis.

with the red one you dont need to modifi any think.

for the xvci you need the right firmware if the xvci not publish the firmware the xvci will not work.

Do you know if this device works on a VM? It works with Odis E 12.2? It’s the only version I have now.
