hello i got a BMW E90 330XI N52 that wont start.. had problem first with water pump, parked car and dont turn on anymore,
the ECU DME had realy burnd pinns and contacts from water. i cleaned the contacts from the wires. bought a used MSV70 DME and CLONED the modul with KESS 3. i connected and still only crank.. though maybe something with immo/EWS so i patched it and still same dont start.. i checked everything VVT,AIRMAS, FUSES,RELAYS,Eaven cloned new CAS thought maybe problem there.. i got a error in CAS that i can´t delete A0B4 (Engine start, starter oeration)this error is refer to a starter when bad and dont crank.. but in this case it cranks so its not that problem .. and a second error that comes sometimes in the DME  2F47 (Irreversible EWS fault) so i get this error with original flash and also with EWS delete so i dont understand.. please can somebody check the both files DME and CAS and se if there is missmatch and wrong due to sync..

When you try to start engine, the rpm indicator works correctly? Did you already done the sync with diagnostic tool?

it just cranks , what do you mean with rpm indicator ? yes i did the sync with DME-CAS ... allt this stuff i made .. i think there is maybe a bad data in DME for CAS so if someone can take a look in DME

rpm gauge in instrument cluster, if stays to zero maybe crankshaft sensor issue.

edit: if rpm signal is ok try to write this file, reprogram with winkfp zb 7581310 encode with ncsexpert, do ews sync with inpa.

alright thanks for looking, you  mean if the guage move a bit while try to start ? if that what u mean then what if the guage dont move does it mean something with engine

Starter operation fault usually means that CAS does NOT receive NON-ZERO RPM data from DME/DDE while it commands starter to turn. In 99% cases meaning crankshaft position sensor is toast. But IF you would rather continue breaking dumps instead of fixing the real issue... Who am I to intervene

that's why i asked that, it's a check, maybe the issue is there, maybe not, but is something to check. I've edited my previous message adding a reset file for msv70 based on your reading, sometimes happens that they went crazy

Hello,
it may not sound right to you, but check your pin on the plug or, best of all, replace it. It may be that there is no contact and still no error is written.
